1851 Census .....

Post by stephlangan » Fri Mar 10, 2006 1:25 am

Just tried to get an image of the 1851 Census info that Jack very kindly found for me last year - could not find the info.

The area that I am trying to locate is Bridgeton - so if anyone else is trying to locate people you suspect in Bridgeton don't use too many credits just yet.

Steph

P.S Looked for dear old Archilbald Stevens/Stevenson but he is still AWOL - alien link is beginning to look strong each day!!! :D
Attempting to research : Langan, McDonald, Cosgrove, Stevenson/Stevens, McConnachie, McAvoy, Mullan

Hi Steph,

Bridgeton was part of Barony Parish (GROS RD 622), so hopefully SP have put it there in the online census.

All the best,

Andrew Paterson

I have rellies in Ayrshire as per Freecen but decided to have a look at the originals to see if there were any other rellies nearby but they have been abducted by aliens according to SP all three are not there.
Is Ayrshire 1851 -Dalry is where they were living, one of the "missing" areas?
