1901 Joppa Census .....

Post by scooter » Wed Apr 12, 2006 9:28 pm

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone who is visiting NRH in the next week or so might be able to do me a huge favour and look up Morton Street, Joppa, Midlothian in the 1901 street index? An even bigger favour would be to see who was living at number nine (or thereabouts).

Big thanks in advance, and excuse me if I'm being a bit cheeky asking this.

Regards,

Scott

Dear Scott

You are most certainly NOT being cheeky. Folks on this site are happy to help if they've got spare time when they're doing their own searches. Did someone get back to you or do you still need a look up?

Hi Liz,

Thanks for your message. As of today I'm still unaware of who was at number nine! I'm not planning on being north of the border again much before November, so still grateful if anyone has a spare few minutes between now and then.

Very best,

Scott
