Hi Cathy,
If of any help, the McGOWAN names & ages are,
--
1851 cens 493 (394) Ed 8 p 32 (Bonhill)
James McGOWAN 40
Sally 32
Janet 11
Ann 9
John 7
James 3
Robert abt 1
--
I'll get a transcription if you wish at one point - i'm not sure when though as,
through necessity, i'm having to cut down my Mitchell Library visits.
Jack
ps, if that's your family then they are probably as McGOUN in 1841.
And also an 1855 BC for one of their children - William.

Jack,
you've done it again!
He married Marion 1847. Do you possibly have an address?
Thanks again.
