Missing family .....

Post by thomsos » Sun Jun 25, 2006 7:09 pm

Can someone tell me why I can't find a family on the 1881 British census, I have their death cert, and I think they should be there, in Scotland
maybe someone can check for me, and let me know if I am doing something wrong
Robert Palmer, hand loom weaver 1836 -1885 Camlachie, Glasgow ( Duke st)
Rebecca 1840-1908 Dennistoun

thank you

Dwelling: 707 Duke St

When you can't find someone by ordinary means and you have the 1881 census disks you can resort to a "neighbors" advanced query search. I entered search terms of Robert Rebecca and Duke St. and there were only 4 records and your's was right there...

Best wishes
Jean
