I have downloaded a record from the 1871 Census which is a page from an institution. Unfortunately, the page has no heading. The district is Maryhill, Lanark and the GROS Data is 622/01009/000 005. Any ideas?

Census of Scotland, 1871 Book A for 295
Enumeration Book
For Public Institution

As you have now discovered, when you view the image, there is a button down on the bottom right "View Header Image". Clicking on this allows you to view for no additional cost the first few pages of the enumeration book where there is information on the nature of an institution if one is involved.

I wasn't charged for this, but, unfortunately, I clicked on next page and five credits were deducted for a page I didn't need, want or search for.

The boxes at the bottom of the screen always make it clear if the next or previous page will cost money to view, so you'll just have to put that one down to experience
