Moray 1841 and 1851 .....

Post by Jean Jeanie » Wed Nov 22, 2006 9:15 pm

Anyone researching in the Moray area?

The Freecen volunteers have now transcribed all the parishes for Moray in 1841 and 1851 and they have been uploaded to the website.

Hi Tracey & Joettte

At least now you can go from neighbour to neighbour in your search and also pick up strays who have moved in with another family, in another parish. Of course, that's ok if it is another parish in Moray.

Now if any of them have strayed into neighbouring Banff, Inverness or Aberdeen, then that's another matter :(

Mind you, Banff and Aberdeen are complete for 1841 and Inverness is nearly there.
