LOGAN Matthew .....

Post by Dibit » Mon Jan 08, 2007 4:18 pm

Hello,

Looking for a bit of help :)

Would someone be kind enough to search the 1881 census for a Matthew LOGAN, possibly living with an Isabella may be widowed by this time. born 1793-1800.

Cheers, :)

According to the 1881 census disks....the oldest Matthew LOGAN in the Lowlands is born in 1827 and in Ayrshire...and the only Matthew LOGAN in the highlands is born in 1863. Any idea where they should be found?

Best wishes
Jean

Thanks Jean

They were from Dalry, Ayrshire.
Married in 1840 but not on the FREECen in 1841.
They were there in 1851. With 3 children.

I am unable to find any death records either.

[Edit]

Sorry just found them on the FreeCen in 1841 Matthew spelled with one t and Isabella spelled without the a.
Still unable to find them after 1851.

It looks as though Isabella died in 1861 in Dalry.
