Hi Margaret and Sarah,
Sorry i don't - only the LKS indexes 1841 to 1861.
Looks like the name may be spelled in a variety of ways.
I've had a quick look for them in Scotland 1881 - nothing looking good.
Do you know if the family remained in Scotland?

Hi Margaret

How did you get on with the deaths of the 3 Felix McShanes in your other post? This may narrow things down a bit.

Hi Margaret,
Doing a name search on SP there are these at least in the 1871 census.
They are in Coatbridge (Old Monkland) - not sure who else is with them.

1861 census look up for New Monkland

Post by maggie69 » Sat Feb 10, 2007 11:50 pm

Hello. I found them on the 1871 on Scotlands People. I have the 1881 on Cd and couldnt find them there,

The 3 Death records that i looked at were not the right ages although maybe related. Felix elder was born in 1835 and jnr born in 1860 so none matched those ages.

Thanks

Margaret

Hi Margaret,
Glad you've found Felix in 1871. :D
Who else is with him? Names? Ages?
Jack
