Maggie

There are address directories for Glasgow for 1891 at NRH in Edinburgh, and the Mitchell Library in Glasgow which will give you the RD number. Hopefully one of our regulars can do a quick look up for 27 Catherine Street.

Catherine street was in the Anderston area of the city in 1896.

Where the present day St Patrick's Primary School is .

According to the Registration Districts in Glasgow list on this site that would be:

Anderston 644/10

I hope this is a help ?

Given the state of flux of RDs in that period, while there's reasonable chance that 27 Catherine St will be in 644/10 in 1891, I'd recommend a doublecheck in the 1891 census street index.
