Does anyone know if the 1901 census for Scotland can be purchased on CD ROM?.

Hi Frances
Not that I am aware of, but you can view it on microfilm at lots of places in Edinburgh: the Edinburgh Room (free), Scottish Genealogy Society (free for members, £5 per day for eveyone else) & NRH (usual day & half-day charges apply, available online & on film)

Depends on the area of Scotland you are interested in - both the Edinburgh Room & SGS do not, as far as I'm aware have all of Scotland, but the LDS centres tend to. (free)

Best wishes
Lesley

Thanks for the reply Leslie

Was aware of all the places you suggested but was looking to buy a CD ROM .
Hopefully it may be produced in the future.

Kind Regards

Frances
