help with john's family tree .....

i need your help again.john anderson born about 1860 in glasgow marriedmary reid 7/11/1879 in glasgow. his parents were walter anderson and mary walker married 20/08/1854. i think mary's parents were stephen reid and andmary mcqueen. that's all i know so far. can't trace any info on stephen and mary at all. or john and mary apart from their marriage. sheer frustration is setting in . can anybody help? :?:

Probably your best way forward is to find the death certificates. That should initially confirm parent's names.

Searches for females is made a bit easier as you can enter both married and maiden names. I'd not bother putting mother's maiden names as a search option as I don't think they are all indexed yet, but someone would be able to confirm that.

hi the info you gave me helped. i would be grateful if you could find any info on their parents especially mary's who were stephen reid and marymcqueen i'm not having any luck even on the census. can you help????? also hi nelmit i've added this bit on to my reply the 2nd john anderson residence 47 mclean street was the one i was wanting thanks.
