This discussion has been very moving and is another reason that makes this site so worthwhile. I have not had a stillbirth but some years ago I read an article about helping people to access their medical records and I was able to go back to the hospital concerned and talk through mine with someone. The lady I spoke to had had almost the same experience as me and that made a HUGE difference. Your offer will be so helpful for those who lost a child.

Hi I’m currently looking for my sisters final resting place she died at a day old in 1974 she died at southern general hospital and all my searching Leeds me to believe she’s laid to rest at st Convals cemetery

If you phone St Conval's RC Cemetery with the name and date they should be able to help. Being a day old the baby would more than likely have been buried by the parents.
