Hi Trish
I am not quite sure what you mean by "compt." "inform." or "book numbers, page numbers etc". - are you looking for English birth, marriage and death records? Just guessing as I know they require book numbers and page numbers...
If you want to search for reference numbers for English records you need to go to somewhere like freebmd, Ancestry or FMP to find the references to enable you to order the certificates.

If you are looking to purchase Scottish birth, marriage and death records, you need to go to http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
There you can buy credits and pay to view the records you wish to see.

You have posted this in the OPR section, so if you are looking for Scottish OPRs there is a list here:
http://www.scotlandspeoplehub.gov.uk/re ... -oprs.html
- and again, individual records are available to download from http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Trish,

There is a marriage on family search.org for a David Elliot and Elizabeth Brown 11th September 1868 in Roxburgh. There is also a son born to them 1868 in Hawick.

SP also has the above marriage - sorry no credits left to check but I am sure it is the right couple.

Hope this helps

Frances :)
