OPR Marriage ?

Post by Susie Q » Mon Oct 03, 2011 8:31 pm

Hi all TS members,
Sorry, I've just realised that I should have posted here, and not in Statutory............long day !
I have an entry in the register for St. Quivox, 1839 . 22 Dec., George Ogilvie and Jane Smith, both in this Parish two days.
What does that mean ? Is it a reading of the Banns, are they married ? Hope someone can penetrate the fog I'm in, bad day at work !

Thanks
Cath :(
