can some please help I just can find his parents at all Robert Moodie ( I can't see his parent names at all this is the only info I can read 1740 - 1795 Born: Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland Died: Walls, Shetland, Scotland and his wife Anne Wardlaw 1740 - 10 Sep 1841 Born: Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland Died: Scotland other details I have which are correct are the following there children

Hi Oldhug,

I see the girls in the following list by doing a 'parent search' on the IGI. if you do a similar search on ScotlandsPeople, you get Robert (1765) as well. So you can see the pages from the OPRs (Old Parochial Registers) for each of these at http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk on a pay per view basis.

It looks like the records dispute the dates for some of your list, as well as providing a younger sister (note the different spelling of the surname).

Wow Andrew thank you and another child fantastic sorry the error must have been my end when typing Iam badly dislexic so this makes family hunting extra hard as you have seen sigh ..... But I sill can't find his parents can anyone help at all please
