Hi Marilyn,

Leave for the UK on July 1st but having a few days in the south visiting friends before going up to Glasgow. I have so much to do there that I could go for 3 months and it wouldn't be long enough. I have to come back 12 August to get my children ready for school in September.

My 11th Grade daughter has decided she wants to go to Glasgow University, so we have to do the 'College Road Trip'. Fortunately this coincides with the British Open being held at Turnberry in 2009, just 10 minutes down the road from my sister in law. This seemed to ease my husbands pain when he had to pay for the tickets.

Hope to fit in trips to Edinburgh and as many of the old family stamping grounds as I can, but that could take up more than 6 weeks on it's own. I have to fit in the family that are still alive, and there's quite a few of them.

Let me know if there's anything you want me to look for, or get in Johnstone. I will definately be there as my mother in law is still in Linwood and my sister in law is in Johnstone.

Have a great day tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Christine.

Hi Christine,

What a generous offer and thank you, but at the moment there isn't any lookups that I need. Sadly all of the old addresses that my Morning family lived at were torn down long ago.....think we discussed that when we were in New York together?

How exciting for your daughter if she decides to attend Glasgow University, oh I can see your husband adding up the numbers.... I should put you in touch with Liz here on TS, she lives in Johnstone and works at the University....You two gals would get along just fine with your winning personalities.

Regards
