Found them in 1881 so I can see her surname was Home.

How strange - did two sets of brothers and sisters marry or is it just coincidence? Just curious.

Annette

Hi Annette

I don't know what is going on. Eliza's maiden surname was indeed Home and she was born in 1838.
I think they were in Glasgow in 1881 is that what you found? They are in Glasgow in 1891 and died in 1896 - both her and George in same year.

The daughter Elizabeth aged 6 in 1871 disappears cannot find any marriage or death entry for her.

many thanks again

Hi Steiner
What info would you like. I have this Butti family marrying into my Tree.
Louis Joseph Butti married Elizabeth Mitchell in 1829 in Edinburgh. Elizabeth was the widow of John Nolli and already had a son John Bartholemew Nollie. She went on to have James Alexander Butti 1831, Elizabeth Butti 1834, George Butti 1838, and Peter Louis Butti 1847 who became a Catholic Priest.
Elizabeth Butti married Hugh Home in 1856 in Edinburgh and George Butti married Eliza Home, she was the widow of Robert Bach.
Hugh Home & Eliza Home were siblings.
Hugh Home died 1888 in Edinburgh and Elizabeth died 1881 in Edinburgh.
George Butti died in June 1896 in Glasgow and Eliza Butti died in July 1896 also Glasgow
I have childrens names from both these marraiges.
Hope this helps some, and any more info just ask
