New year hangover

Evening Jack. Hope you're well. Yes, wee Wullie Waddington stayed on with his uncle Thomas until he was 25. Then he finally broke loose and began fathering in a big way. He had eight children by wife number one, Elabeth Fleming and an illegitimate son who carried on his seed in Canada before remarrying to Mary Humble and producing another two heirs. May not be many Waddingtons or Weddingtons in Scotland as you say, but this chap did his level best to boost the numbers.
The Turner connection is a major stumbling block. He's a real mystery character. Not sure whether he ever married Mary Leckie and if he is dead, as he must be by now, it must have been after 1955. Regards Colin.
PS Also struggling to find more on Wee Wullie's aunty Isobella who married journeyman baker William Ramsay and set up home in the Gorbals.Got her right through to death in 1914, but running cold on husband and son James Ramsay, also a baker. Wee Wullie, eventually died, not of exhaustion, but left this world ,aged 71, from pneumonia on May 23, 1917 at 19b Kippen Street, Airdrie.
