am looking for John Begley and Isabella Mcarthur whom married in Dec 8 1836 in Neilston Renfrew Scotland, I've received the marriage bann and both at Kirktonfield in this parish... Thanks Karen

Hi Karen,
There were a couple of Poor Relief applications for Isabella BAGLEY/BIGLEY m/s McARTHUR. :D
I know Annette got one for 1859, and there was another in 1869 - the year she died.

Hi Jean!
You'll be less impressed when i tell you that i'd a note of it stuck on the edge of the printer shelf in front of me!
By chance i just happened to notice it.
And it's been there for many a month; i just forgot to take it down. :oops:
Got many dozens more beside it, and also pinned to the walls etc.
I'd run out of shelf edges - they now resemble the bunting put up for a gala day!

Regardless of how you found the info....you saved yourself a duplication of effort! Must train myself to search TS on surname first :D

Thank you all for your help.. at least I know what happen to Archibald and Isabella..now if I can find the last of the missing sons the circle of that family will be complete?? thanks Karen :wink:
