Marilyn

I did agree with admins descision and that wasn't the problem, my reply was to let the previous post know that I had not ignored their reply to my query, so I am not sure why you feel that you have to "lay down the law" on this matter, if you had left it-it would die a natural death.

I still feel that as a forum we are entitled to an opinion.

Hello Trish,

The last post I made before it was inappropriately removed read as follows:

Actually Trish, I wouldn’t be surprised if AncestralScotland is only giving the freebee to every 10th caller or whatever or rationing it to so many free credits a day. If it’s been running 6 months and they would have given out millions by now if everyone who registered got ten credits.

Working on the principle that computers sometimes have minds of their own, and that anything’s possible, there’s something else you could have a look at.

In Internet Explorer go to Tools – Internet Options – Security – click on the red restricted sites blob and then click the ‘sites’ button. If there are any sites listed maybe it snuck in there in which case it can be removed.

If you have a different IE version to mine the above may be slightly different.

All the best,
Alan

Hi Alan

Thanks for your further tips, all to no avail. So I may just leave it untill my Nephew makes his next visit and see if he can solve the problem, these younger folk can fix anything concerning computers, me I am totally useless with all things technical.
Must write myself a post sticker to stick on the computer otherwise I will remember after he has gone.

Thanks again Alan for your help.
