That’s okay Catriona,

Actually, if you leave it until next week, the way the Australian Dollar is going, they may be paying you!

Hello Catriona,
Having a sticky beak through the Australian posts to see if there was any queries out there I could help with, if you are still searching for info on your 3 brothers I may be able to help. I live not too far away from Maffra and would be happy to see if I could find out where they are buried, if you already know the location maybe there is a headstone.
Let me know if I can help.
Regards,
Katrina

Apologies - I hadn't noticed this thread until the recent posts. I have the avri covering BDMs in Victoria at this time. Civil registration started in 1853, so they should be listed, but I can see no sign of these three with deaths in the same year.

Do you have any other information about them - such as when/where born and/or parent names. The closest I see
Andrew Walker (no age given) died 1858 Father Andrew and Sarah (unknown maiden name) born hawt (probably Hawthorne in Victoria) ref 5492
Robert Walker aged 35 parents died 1856 unknown born Gla (could be Glasgow) ref 2547
William Walker aged 46 died 1857 parents unknown born Renf (Renfrew?) ref 4135
William Walker aged 24 parents Thomas and Charlotte (unknown maiden name) born Shro (?) ref 7202

Thanks, Katrina, for your kind offer. I'll get back to you when I've had the time to re-visit the Walker brothers.

Trish
Thank you for the information on the Walkers.

William Walker from Renfrew sounds likely, so I've taken note of the reference. Will get back to you to share the good news if he proves to be mine.

Best wishes

Are you able to help me find any information on the deaths of my G Granparents who I think were in Melbourne at the time of their deaths. They were alive in 1910. I think they originaly came out from Scotland to Victoria. Info I have is so vague which makes life really difficult :(

I looked at your other query & answered there - might be simpler to keep everything about your family together
