Hi Sandra

Mother Margaret's name looks to begin with a letter "P" on John Craig's 1892 death.

Best wishes
Lesley

I Think I have found proof that I should be tracing Boyd’s and not Craig’s.

This was on Joseph Boyd Craig 1883 bc - Eliza Jane Wilson married 1865 to John Craig, General Labour who she declares is not the father of the child, and further more that she has had no personal communication with him since they ceased to live together in 1876.

Although on the 1881 census they appear to be together!

Looking at John Craig's dc, I read his Mother's M.S. as Burns. The initial letter of the name is quite different from the P in 87 Princes Street and also in the McCormick M.S. Parker.
