Hi Hugh
Passenger Ships Lists are on Line.
That looks like a really useful link - good to see so many resources pulled together on one page.
Best wishes
Lesley

Hi Hugh
Wonder if I can tap into your obvious expertise in all things seaworthy. I posed this question on TS a while back and got some sound advice - however no harm in asking an expert in case you have another trick up your sleeve.
I have a bundle of relatives who went back and forwards between the UK and the US several times each between 1905 and 1926. I have them all on passenger lists from UK to US via Ellis Island Site and on Ancestry - but what would really get me a breakthrough would be some info from the passenger lists from the US back to the UK. I know that the Americans do not seem to hold these records and that some passenger lists are held at Kew - but are not digitised and cannot be searched on line. Short of getting someone to search when they are visiting Kew or paying for Kew's own staff to do the research do you know of any other way to view this info?
Thanks lots
Ted
Looking for Allan / Gordon / Troup / McInnes / Grant / Taylor / Jackson from Aberdeen (city & shire) & Banffshire

Hi Ted
I have had the same problem on Passenger lists back from the USA i am still looking into this? my Father went to QUEBEC on the Metagama and came back i can not find his return.
Also another Family Member went over to QUEBEC ON HIS Return crossed over to the USA and came back on another ship from New-York.
The SS Numidian and Laurentian from the Allen Line. or some came back on City of Rome Anchor Line.
Will let you know if i find any info.
Regards Hugh.

Hi Hugh
Thanks - I'll keep you posted if I manage to find any other sources. I have 5 of my Grandfathers siblings who went to and fro across the Atlantic like yo-yo's but I have yet to find a passenger list for any return journeys
Best regards
Ted
