Census help

Post by Maud Jarvis » Mon Apr 17, 2006 5:37 pm

Hi,
Could you please if possible offer help to me in the awful Sassanach country?

I have been researching my gt aunt EFFIE GRANT I discovered her on the 1881 census (for which I have the LDS discs) she was then with her paternal grandmother Euphemia Martin (previously Grant she had remarried) in Edinburgh. living in Blacket Place, St Cuthberts.

I also traced her on the 1901 census, later on when I knew she
had married, her surname was then Colven, she married Thomas Colven in 1897, in Milton Glasgow. They were then living in Anderston Glasgow

So I c an complete my record about her, I would like to know where she was living in 1891, so if you have access to this census, could you do me a great favour and look for me?
her birth name was Effie, not Euphemia, I had had that suggested to me when I was searching for her marriage, she was born January 1869 in Derby.

If you can possibly do this for me, you will make an old lady very happy, thank you
Seeking any descendents from Ezekiel McCulloch, Port Glasgow, also Neil Barr (Greenock)
