The Fourth Statistical Account
According to the new leaflet at the GROS explaining how the Scotland's People family history centre is going to work, we'll be able to gain access to the four Statistical Accounts of Scotland.
Have I missed something - I thought there were only three?

Hi Chris,
Like you, I believe there to be three Statistical Accounts of Scotland.
All the best,
AndrewP
Like you, I believe there to be three Statistical Accounts of Scotland.
- Old (or First) Statistical Account of Scotland (1791-1792)
- New (or Second) Statistical Account of Scotland (1834-1845)
- Third Statistical Account of Scotland (1951-1992)
All the best,

You'll also find them at the EDINA site at http://stat-acc-scot.edina.ac.uk/sas/sa ... ion=public&
I had no idea they could be downloaded from Google though, it might make it easier to search through them by keywords - good shout...!
