1881 and 1891 Census Look-up Requests

Seeking the family of a James McCreadie FERGUSON who, according to my information, was born in Saltcoats, Ayrshire in 1873.

As more than a few of my McCREADIEs married FERGUSONs and vice versa, this looks like the result of another one; which one I am yet to determine.

My granny used to tell me "Ye cannae spit in Saltcoats but ye'll hit family!"

Hi Jim,
Where did you get the information you already have? All I see is a James Millar Ferguson born Saltcoats (or Ardrossan).

Hi Jim
You can view both the 1881 & 1891 census data on the Scotlands People site. Link at the top of this page. To search costs nothing at all, and it is amazing what can be established by searching. Obviously to see results will cost a small amount, usually money well spent if you have searched carefully, but we are all in the same boat with that one, I'm afraid.
