Is there a searchable UK on-line database for 1882 and 1883 which lists emigrants to Australia?
I have searched the Australian (Queensland and New South Wales) databases but am unable to locate the arrival of Margaret McCREADIE and her children Jane, Isabella and John. Jane and Isabella were married in Queensland and were identified as McCREADIE while, in 1916, John enlisted in Queensland as John McCREADIE. Nor can I locate any death or burial data for Margaret McCREADIE. I believe they emigrate directly to Queensland as extended family were already living there.
I have also searched micro-fiche at the WA Reference Library for no results other than "sqaure-eyes"!
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Hello Jim,
This National Archives document explains the situation re outbound passenger lists
“Generally speaking, emigration passenger lists between 1776-1889 have not survived”
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/cata ... ID=106&j=1
Lists from 1890 (currently to 1945) are available at ancestorsonboard

For inbound to Australia try Mariners and Ships in Australian Waters
http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/
East Coast States arrival records databases you know about

I came across this site, haven’t had a close look at it but could be interesting

Emigrant vessels to Australia 1882 and 1883
Thanks Alan
I have already checked ALL of those, either my McCREADIEs are not listed or the years 1882 and 1883 are not listed.
While very interesting, the "wee-monster" site lists all the sites I have already searched.
I can PROVE they arrived in Queensland but their arrival continues to elude me. They were related to Hugh McCREADY (sic), see Malungmavel, Pleystowe, Te Kowai and his own Palmyra sugar mills.
Thanks again for your interest and advice.
