A new resource has become available online:
this is excellent but is still in the beta testing stage and hopefully will expand in coming months.

There’s some interesting stuff there. I’m looking forward to next year when the newspaper one should be complete.

But don’t be fooled by this fellow in the National Library’s digitised collection. He only dresses like that so people will feel sorry for him.

Hi Alan

I did have a friend visit from England many years ago & she told me she was fully expecting to see kangaroos hopping down George Street in Sydney. I think it related to the advertisements for immigrants in the 1950s/60s
