Question regarding multiple names and indexing

Hello All:

Ive got a question for you seasoned genealogists, I just uploaded a marriage cert for Margaret Finnie and Robert McWilliam. Robert also has two other names following McWilliam on the cert, Fraser and Wilson (or at least that is my guess) His father listed at right is James Fraser Wilson.
Mother is Esther ms Conway again its my guess.
Im trying to locate death certs for them and also any census records, my question is what name do you think it would be indexed under? Ive tried the obvious combinations with no luck. I also cannot find the death record for Margaret under McWilliam, Fraser, Wilson or Finnie
Any suggestions??

Hi Karen

I think SP should have the marriage indexed under WILSON and not McWILLIAM. Not many folks have four names and the way his is written I can see why they stopped at McWILLIAM but according to his BC he's a WILSON....

Very oddly enough though I think this is the family on the 1891 at Ancestry as FRASER

Also the parents marriage is right where the BC says it is under WILSON, JAMES FRASER - CONWAY, ESTHER

I did manage to find the parents MC late last night. Ive never run across anything like that before!!

Here's a pointer.....his mum married a John Lindsay in 1894....

so on the 1901 he's wearing a Lindsay disguise
