Mothering Sunday in the UK is Sunday 22th March 2009.

You should have plenty time to get a card in the post and keep your Mums happy!

I hope people are paying attention and have taken notice of what you’ve said.

Down here Mothers Day is the second Sunday in May.

It doesn’t really affect me because I’m an orphan.

Me too alan,
I hae been an orphan for a long time, but I usually give some flowers to an old lady who lives nearby who has outlived her children and always feels sad on Mother's Day

That's a lovely idea Wini thank goodness my beloved Mum is still around -I am dreading the day as I can't imagine life without her.
Granny outlived all her children too but Mum was as much a daughter to her than a daughter-in-law.
