Thanks Scott. I currently access the SMH at my State library and have been lucky in that I haven't yet tried to access a missing/damaged page or paper - it seems this may not be a problem in the future, although some are yet to be found.

Sometimes I wonder about the ocr indexing - I find with the times online, it can be useful to search for associated words when looking for some names, as things are often misread by the ocr process. It seems the NLA is trying to minimise such errors
