Re: Ancestry Immigration Freebie
I'm a fan of ancestry - have had a sub for some years & use it a lot - but sometimes the patience in relation to stupid grows thin.
I have been searching the immigration records for a distant relative called Edward Forward and wife Sarah. They disappeared from England & probably went to Canada as some of their other family members went there. Having no luck I searched for surname Forward without a given name & found five on the one ship at the right time. This looked hopeful until I realised there were 6 pages of names for the voyage. At the bottom of pages 1-5 was a line of totals with the heading ... forward. These were my 5 "people"

Hi Trish,
I understand how frustrating this must be for you it is so ridiculous really, but I had to
I had been waiting with bated breath for the 29th in the hope that I would be able to knock down one of my brick walls in relation to an immigration from Italy. I found one possibility with only the surname - no other info. oh well! I have waited this long, not sure where else to look now.
