Here's a daughter in 1841 who died at 4 Tobago St, Edinburgh in 1847 -

Sophia Burn 50 born Scotland
Anne Burn 30
Robert Burn 15
Agnes Paul 30

She married a John Burn, Commander, Royal Navy.

You'll find other wee snippets in the 19th Century Newspapers if you have access.

Annette

Many thanks to Nelmit and Currie for the kind replies to my query about Scott in Penang.I should check the website more frequently.
I do know of some of the Archive information given but I will certainly look into some of the others references.
I do know of Sophia Burns,Tobago Street, plus many other siblings.
I have also been in touch with Jan Herivel in Oz for several years now and we are both working on the same family together.
Again many thanks for the responses.
