Hi Cathy,
Can't see a Samuel WATSON to suit, and have no way of knowing if this is Jane LAURIE (as Janet) in 1841, but she does have daurs Margaret & Janet of the right age.
Nor can i see a good match for this family in 1851 - unless Janet (as 53) & daur Janet (as 30) have changed occupations and are now stay makers....

Hello Cathy,
I have the same people in my family tree. I don't know much more than you regarding the Watsons, as I have just found them, but I do have a lot on the Docherty side through Margaret's daughter Sarah.
I too have Margaret's death registration, and I thought the maiden name for the mother was Lowrie.
I also have Margaret and some family on the 1871 census.
I am happy to share what I have with you if you PM me.
Nina
