Hi Everyone,

I have just registered with TalkingScot, and I am seeking help!
I finally found where my GMother is buried, and, in doing so, discovered she had another husband - her third!

Lizzie (Eliza Jane) McCallum - (Smyth) (Evans) (Smart)

I have information for the first 2, however I can find nothing about the third.

Lizzie Married Charles Smart somewhere between 1940-1965.

Lizzie is from Belfast N. Ireland, where the first 2 marriages took place.

She Died and is buried in Ilford England.

I have checked records in N. Ireland, and England, no luck.

It has been suggested he may have been born in Scotland, and also married, and buried there.

He must have been born around 1875-1885
All suggestions, and help, greatly appreciated!

The marriage date is outside TS guidelines viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6601, but having said that, you may wish to search on http://www.ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk. I am not fully aware of their limits on accessing such recent documents.

If you enter a search using the SEARCH option on the top of this page, you will find some references to Charles Smart who may/may not be of interest or help.

Scotland's People has similar guidelines to TS, the difference being instead of viewing the image online, a copy can be ordered from them, just be aware that currently there is a delay in getting copies to customers.
