Hello Annette,
The birth cert for Jane Malcolm states James Malcolm and Agnes Taylor M 1861 as Parents.
I have a marriage cert for Jane/JEANNIE to Alexander Mathie that states her mothers name as MARY MCLEAN :? :?
The ages all tie in but names puzzle me.
Thanks.

Thank You for that.

After checking on my data once again would you believe the other
JANE MALCOLM was born 3 days apart from My Jane who was born on the 4TH JULY 1872 the other the 7th. July1872 .Always knew it was the 4th but could not find it.
I thought it was just a date mix up. So the Mary Mclean mother must be right.
Jane lived to 100 yrs not quite the 101 .
Thanks for all your help we would be up a greasy pole with out you.

Cheers.
