Bridget was born in Cambusnethan on 3 Feb. 1865 - parents, Peter McAnulty and Catherine McSorley.
Later she appeared in 1871 census (Steele St. Wishaw) with rest of family, age 6.
Family moved to Blantyre c 1875 and I have all relevant info on all of them thereafter - except Bridget, i.e. on Scotland's people, IGI etc. I can find no marriage, census or death info. Have I missed something obvious?
I'm hopeful that the combined brains of our members can help me solve this puzzle.

Hi Mac,
I don't know if anyone can find anything for you in Scotland, but I did find a Bridget McAnulty death listed in Stockton (Co.Durham/Yorks) in Quarter Ending September 1874 I think the number 1 means the age but that could be a typo from 9 and there is no corresponding birth. Hardly conclusive but maybe worth considering.

Bridget McAnulty
Thanks both for taking the trouble to reply and for offering solutions to my problem. Unfortunately neither solved the puzzle so I'll have to go back to the proverbial drawing board.

Mac

Hello Mac
In case you have not already tried this...
Search the records again for Bridget with second names M*cInulty, and M*cNulty (the * wildcard will catch the Mac's and the Mc's).
In a lot of cases the name was written how the register or census taker heard it.

Mac,
Was Bridget a sister of Andra McAnulty?

If so then you've no doubt read Andy Paterson's book?
He mentions that after her father died & her older sister married, Bridget moved in with her married sister.
