MCVICAR - Bath Somerset .....

My ggg grandfather Neil MCVICAR was born in Glasgow 1808, married Mary NAISMITH in Hamilton, Lanark in Jan 1836, they apparently moved to Bath, Somerset where their 3 sons James b.Jun 1837- d. Feb 1841, John and William, my gg grfather, were all born.

Mary died sometime between 1841 and 1846. but her death is not registered in Somerset.

Neil married Margaret MACVICAR in Bath in July 1846. They all emigrated to NZ in 1849.
I have details from 1841 census and the boys' birthdates.

Can someone please find a death date and place for Mary?
Mary's age in 1841 census is given as 25. I have found 2 possibles on FREEBDM in 1843 near London.

Neil and Mary were servants at Claverton Manor, Bath(1841 census). Somerset is a long way from Scotland - can someone tell me if they would have needed a referral to get work at the Manor?

Looking for McGowan Anderson Fleming Sommerville Waddell in Lanarkshire. Semple Murray Baird Thompson Hutchinson in Annan Dumfriesshire Baird and Hutchinson also in Kirkinner Wigtonshire and Semple family of Annan Glasgow and Edinburgh
