Saving Images on SP

Hi All
Trying to save image from SP but keeps saying cannot save this web page. Using Jave, as Active X (which I used last year until it went awol) still not working!
Is Direct Download easier to use? Tried changing to this but no image came up.
Haven't come across this in the past and sure I have saved images on this setting before.

Hi Bertha
"Direct download" means you don't see the image online, you download it directly from the link on SP and save it to your PC. You can then open it with the image program of your choice. I use direct download as I've had problems in the past with the other two methods.

OOPS!Wonder how this post appeared here, sure i put it in SP prolbems forum!
Couldn't see it so did it there again as well as posting it twice here somehow!
Third time it did go into problems and I have embelished a bit.
When using Direct Download, cannt' save as the word save is dulled out!

Its me again and my addled brain.
Remembered something someone told me a few years back about right click, save as target and hey presto images again.
Sorry for being such a dimwit but it must be the clock change that's addled my brain.
