Maid of Orleans

Post by fmackay » Sat Apr 08, 2006 11:34 am

Looking for information on the "Maid of Orleans" of Ardrossan which sank on 1st January 1880. My gg grandfather,James Hourston, was the ship's master at the time. Are there records of crew etc available as another of my ancestors was a member of the crew but not at the time the ship sank.
thankyou
Fiona

Good luck.
Hugh.
