Deciphering Place Name.....

Can anyone help me work out the pace name for Andrew Rutherford (near the top).

It looks like Ruthshire? Galloway? to me

It could be Perthshire, Fossoway.

If it's Fossoway try Kinross-shire on the IGI and you might be lucky.
