Pandora??? .....

A while back I was looking for my Prudence Stewart and got several replies placing her in the Kirkton Woman's home in 1841.This can be verified on the Neilston census site, the freecen and Scotlands People.Sooooooooooo.....I was having a wee bit of trouble locating rellies on the 1841 on ancestry and gave her name and address a try.Pandora? In fact out of the 22 women listed there I found at least 7 transciption errors.As the other 3 before mentioned sites agree on the names of the Home I can only asume its ancestry.Poor Isabella McFarlan is now Isabella Mahilan.and Mary Jamison became Agnes.I should have expected it after a friend finding a Davies listed as a Jones. Ah well , back to the drawing board.
