Mmmm!! where to now?? They disapeared

Greetings to all,
I'm looking for info on the Orr family of Partick, lanarkshire.
The info I have so far is:
John Orr married Jane Mitchell < no dates - sorry>
Only child I can find is Robert Orr <b: 1846 - Glasgow> <d: 1926 - South Africa>. He married Barbara Tolmei <b: 1844 - Partick>; on 13 Dec 1870 in Partick. They had three duaghters Agnus Wilson Orr <b:1871 -Partick>. Jane Mitchell Orr <b:1873 - Partick>. Then they dissapeared. Agnes appears in Heilbron, Orange Free State, South Africa where she marries Alexander Thomas Pittendrigh on the 11 Nov 1889. Wittnessed by Jane Orr.
The third daughter Barbara Tolmei Orr is married to John Eugene Barnier on
06 Sep 1897 in Heilbron, Orange Free State, South Africa. Wittnessed by Robert Orr.
I have other little bitts, but I realy need to Know about Jane Mithchell Orr my GGrandmother. As you are all well aware the SA archieves are no great fun. So if anyone has any further info please get in touch.

I wndered if you had looked at the Scotlands People site yet (link at top of page) There you should be able to find the births of the three sisters if you don't have these already, and the 1871 census would be worth looking at to confirm (or not) the children below.

there is a Robert Orr on the IGI, but it is a submission:
ROBERT ALEXANDER ORR
Birth: 17 JUL 1847 Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland
Parents:
Father: JOHN ORR
Mother: JEAN MITCHELL

But this one is an extract;
CATHERINE STRATHDEE ORR
Christening: 03 MAR 1850 Gorbals, Lanark, Scotland
as is:
DAVID ORR
Birth: 01 MAY 1855 Govan, Lanark, Scotland

then there is another submission:
ALEXANDER DAVID ORR
Birth: 11 JAN 1846 Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland

There is a birth of a Barbara Tolmie Orr on Scotlands People in 1875 Govan, Lanark, so looks like she was born in Scotland, and if so, the family were still in Scotland at that time.

I have a copy of Robert and Barbara's Wedding certificate and Roberts parents are John Orr and Jane Mitchell. On the entry for Robert Alexander Orr, Jean Orr might be a slight transcription error.
I have searched Scotlandspeople and got all the info they have.
The strange thing is that I can't find any record of them leaving Scotland.
I can trace from me back to my Grandfather. Then during the Alglo Boer War going back to 1873 there seem to be a lot of blanks, with only bits and pieces.

Janes are often Jean and both of those are often Janet! That is, when Janets aren't being Jennets, Jannats or Jessies!
