Found my Bonners on 1891 Census - So why the disappointment, says you?
Well the first thing I noticed with glee was the the top 3 people on the sheet, (not my Bonners), showed the area in Ireland they were born, i.e. Londonderry and Belfast.
Great, says I tae masel! Now I'll know where mine came from in Ireland.
Wrong again

Both my adults were born in Ireland, but the enumerator only wrote in Ireland - no placename. Assuming the sheet was transcribed from a form the family filled in, I am not happy with my ancestor's reticence
