A funny thing happened yesterday, and it made me wonder.....

.......How many of us are sitting on SP images that have other members interests on them?

I decided yesterday that it was a good day to go back through my SP viewed images, and delete those that I hadn't connected with.

Image number one was an 1891 census for Johnstone. No, it wasn't my McGraths, but the first 3 names caught my attention. They were

Jemima Morning Daur. 9yrs Scholar
Alexander Morning Son 7yrs
Joseph Morning Son 5ys

So the first thing I thought was.......Marilyn?

I wonder if anyone is sitting on my elusive Jane Hunter (nee Fyfe), or her equally elusive brother, Robert Fyfe.

I have a Fyfe (Fife) somewhere in my tree, found them a while ago.

Yeh I wonder also at time if people on here have people from my family on their certs. I must admit that when I look at certs I mainly look at the person I am interested in and not really pay attention to the rest.

It might be an idea for me at one point in the future to go through them and post the names of the extra people.

Hi Marilyn and Audrey,

Marilyn,

I'll have a look and see. I'll get back to you in a bit.

Audrey,

That's a good idea. I have a small tropical forest here. I like to work with hard copies. The number of times I've discovered a brother, sister or some other relative who lived next door. And only because I eventually took the time to have a proper look. I think I'll review my signature and add areas.

If I can help anyone, feel free to ask.

Hi Marilyn,

Just had a look at the previous page for that Census and yes, the parents are David and Margaret Morning. Also shown are:

Adam 21yrs
Hugh 19 yrs
Margaret 16 yrs
Mary 13 yrs
Georgina? 11 yrs

If you don't have these I'll happily scan them for you.

Hello Christine,

Yes, I would appreciate a copy and thanks for the kind offer. I have the bmd, certs for the family, but not a copy of this record.

Regards
Marilyn

Hi Pandabean,

I see i've started something from your other post. As Russell said, It's great to find these unexpected treasures but I always want to kick myself for not checking in the first place. The witnesses have also been a great help in the past.

Oh and if your Fyfe has any connection with Clackmannanshire, they could be one of mine.
