hi all i have found that one of my ancestors was a solicitor it makes a difference from iron miners etc my question is there a site with info about scottish solicitors any help appreciated

Firstly, http://www.lawscot.org.uk/ , but I have a memory that their records may not go back that far , ... even more recent than I thought, 1949 !!
