Clipped images

Post by SarahND » Fri Feb 02, 2007 11:41 pm

Has anyone else downloaded an image that has part of the page cut off? I have uploaded to the gallery (or will in a minute 8) ) an OPR image that cut off the bottom entry, which was unfortunately the one of interest to me! Just wondering whether, in the opinion of those of you in the SP user's group, this is worth a contact form. It would presumably involve re-capturing the image, which I would imagine is not top priority at this time.

Hi Sarah,

Given that the whole thing is a bit difficult to read, I would contact SP asking for a photocopy to be sent. I would also tell them of the problem you had as it looks like the page is rather long and somehow may need adjusting at their end.

Hi Sarah

When an image is not legible for whatever reasons and you've paid your 6 credits to get to it then it's always a good idea to ask for a photocopy via contact form. In this case the legibility isn't only becasue you can't make it out...it just ain't there to start with! While corrections may be a bit of a wait in coming to the online databases I'm sure GROS will not be a long time in getting you the info you're looking for.

Best wishes
Jean
