CR Card problems

Post by karenmcc » Thu Feb 22, 2007 5:55 am

Hi All,

My brother buys my CRs for me on Scotlandspeople, He's tried a couple of times today already, and it keeps telling him his card is not valid. He knows it is, is anyone else having problems?

Hi David,

Not yet. Just thought that mayby if the site is busy it may cause problems. I'll ring him later when he gets home from work and ask him to give it one more try, then if it's still not working shall do as you suggest.

Thanks
Karen

Hello Karen,

I've had this message before but it turned out I had missed a digit from my card number. Another time I subitted the wrong card type.

A little error in submitting the payment details will give the message that the card is invalid.

Kind regards,
Annette M

Hi karen

Is it Visa? There was discussion on another forum re problems with an "international" payment to Ancestry via visa. Alternatively, I have had my card rejected when the name was different to what is on the card (I had left out the middle letter)
